Additionally, you can expect some minor flaking over time, a characteristic that is inherent to the charm of this material.

Teak is known for its durability, strength, and resistance to moisture, making it a suitable choice for the outdoors. Given that it’s a natural material, grain pattern and color can vary slightly from piece to piece, offering each item a personalized touch.

Keep in mind that without proper care, the finish can change to a silvery gray over time due to direct sunlight and exposure to the elements, and consistent moisture can cause the woodgrain to raise. Teak also tends to expand and shrink with age and environmental changes, so you may notice hairline cracks appear in the wood as time passes.
