Inventory Control Specialist

The inventory control specialist maintains records of products in inventory and on order. Maintains continued accountability and inventory requirements for corporate assets for assigned department or program. Required Qualifications: At least 1-2 years warehouse experience Experience on forklift and cherry picker Must be able to move 50 lbs. boxes Computer literate - MS Excel and MS Outlook Good communication skills Independent worker and team player Able to work under fast pace environment Needs to be able to adapt to change Willing to learn and be coached Job Type: Full-time Sage 100 experience a plus

Competencies:

  • Solid reading skills.
  • Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
  • Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Ability to understand and execute instructions.
  • General understanding of the warehouse. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., barcoding equipment, handheld devices.

Warehouse Associate – Positions Available: 2

Blue Pheasant – Picking, Shipping Team - Palletizer) The Warehouse Associate role requires someone who will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment. 

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Warehouse and distribution experience
  • RF scanning experience a must

Product Development Coordinator

This position supports the designer in the development of seasonal assortment plans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Document sample requests from the designer. Assist the designer in maintaining procurement documents in a systematic and auditable fashion. Maintain WIP reports for assigned areas and categories. Responsible for tracking samples from initial development to ordering stage. Communicate requests to agents/factories, getting sample timing and cost as well as addressing any questions that arise. Resolve issues regarding samples with the design director or directly with agents/factories. Coordinate shipping and delivery of samples, with a particular focus on maintaining timelines. Assist in the transitioning samples to the production team, answering questions on the product and making sure all necessary information needed to manufacture piece is communicated. Update and maintain assortment sheets to provide real time information.

Skills:

  • Must have a solid working knowledge of MS office programs.
  • Must possess analytical and skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Must possess decision-making skills and the ability to meet necessary deadlines.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be accountable for results and approach obstacles proactively and look for ways to resolve issues.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Excel

Tradeshow Visual Merchant

This individual will work with the Tradeshow Visual and Construction Manager to execute and manage the visual presentation of the Ardmore Home Design Brands (10-12 tradeshows/showrooms annually). The ideal candidate must have a background in the home furnishings industry, with a strong emphasis on merchandising and managing the setup of tradeshows or showrooms. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketch-Up is preferred. Experience in developing displays/product fixtures a plus. Product includes home décor, decorative accessories and tabletop. In addition to visual responsibilities, this person will work with our Operations/Warehouse team to execute special projects as well as manage staff while traveling. We work on multiple showrooms at once so the ability to move quickly between projects and multi-task is a must in this role. The ability to travel 40% of the year is required. 

Skills:

  • Experience working with home furnishings a must
  • A good eye for color and proportion
  • Comfort working in AutoCAD and Sketch-Up programs
  • Pro-active; able to figure things out with little direction
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Able to multi-task and make decisions quickly
  • Works effectively in high pressure situations
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate future needs without being told by upper management
