Our Isla deep buffet offers abundant storage with two loosely woven shelves and three drawers, finished with round sunburst brass knobs. A tightly wrapped, peeled rattan frame with slender legs is reinforced at the top and drawers with a dense basket weave.
What To Expect
Rattan is typically harvested from rattan palms, which grow in tropical regions, and the appearance and texture can vary depending on the environment. For example, whether the season was more dry or wet than usual can impact its natural color, and the time of year it’s harvested can affect how it absorbs color. Some might even include small marks of darker shades, leaving each piece with a subtle sense of individuality. These types of variation are why we love utilizing natural materials for our designs; they offer each piece its own hint of character.
