Performance rope can feature some color variation between fiber dye lots, with some pieces appearing slightly lighter or darker. Changes in light and environment can impact how the color is perceived as well. Rustic teak features a slightly rougher, more weathered feel than normal teak, but they’re both suitable for the outdoors and known for their durability, strength, and resistance to moisture. Given that rustic teak is a natural material, grain pattern and color can vary slightly from piece to piece, offering each item a personalized touch. Keep in mind that without proper care, the finish can change to a silvery gray over time due to exposure to the elements, and consistent moisture can cause the woodgrain to raise. Teak also tends to expand and shrink with age and environmental changes, so you may notice hairline cracks appear in the wood as time passes.
