WHY DETAILS MATTER
For over 15 years, Made Goods has focused on transforming unique materials in unexpected ways. Our products are handcrafted with care and naturally sourced, celebrating natural variations in our products that make each item one-of-a-kind.
Owners Chris & Oscar share the journey behind Made Goods' products, where details always matter.
Natural Variations in Rattan
Rattan is one of our favorite materials to use due to its natural beauty, durability and its ability to be bent and formed to create beautiful lines. A type of trailing or climbing vine, rattan can have naturally stunning color variations depending on the harvesting season.
Bone & Mother of Pearl Inlay
Some Made Goods products are made of natural bone and mother-of-pearl inlay. All of our collections using these materials are meticulously handcrafted by master artisans making each piece its own work of art.
Faux Materials
Find out why faux materials are used and some of the advantages they offer in terms of product durability. Materials like faux raffia, faux Belgian linen, and faux shagreen are all inspired by their natural material and casted to replicate natural variations of the material.
Outdoor Stone and Concrete Materials
Made Goods’ outdoor products are crafted from a wide variety of materials. Reconstituted stone and reinforced concrete are two of the most durable and both natural materials inherently evolve over time.
Leathers
Real full-grain leather is best kept in its natural state rather than treated or heavily processed. At Made Goods, we celebrate the natural variations in full-grain leather, embracing its authentic character in every piece.
Hair-on-Hide
Learn more about the craftsmanship behind hair-on-hide products and the inherent variations that are in this material. Products made from hair-on-hide offer a unique look and feel while providing exceptional durability and strength.
