Wood is a natural material, so variation in grain pattern, markings, and color will occur, offering each piece made with this material a one-of-a-kind look.
Horn is a naturally harvested material, so variation in its color and texture are completely normal and expected from piece to piece. This may affect the way dyes and stains are absorbed, causing slight shifts in the color of some pieces, and you might also see some scratching, discoloration, and other wear from the period when this material was on the animal. Ultimately, these types of variation are what draw us to this material and inspire us to create designs that honor its natural charm.
