Leroy Table Lamp
Taking cues from mid-century modern ceramics, our oversized Leroy is a simple statement maker. Hand glazed, each lamp is an original work, with wonderful imperfections elevating its charm and character.
What To Expect
Our ceramic pieces are made from secondary clay, which contains plant bark and husk, seeds, and inorganic materials, so the shade can vary slightly from red to brown. Additionally, as the material is molded, glazed, and loaded into the kiln, minor imperfections can occur, like pin holes from the firing process, small chips and cracks, and marks or inconsistencies in the paint due to running glaze. If the kiln is wood-fired, there may be more variation in the texture and color given the less predictable nature of fire and the presence of ash; gas-fired kilns, on the other hand, tend to have a little more control over the temperature, resulting in a more evenly fired piece. Ultimately, we welcome these types of variation because they offer each one of our pieces a stunning, one-of-a-kind look.
