Thick strands of seagrass are loosely woven into the drum shape of the Nina chandelier. Exposed knotting details make the piece exceptional. Finished with an optional linen drop shade.
What To Expect
Seagrass grows in shallow waters, and once ready to be harvested, it’s dried and woven. Given possible changes to the environment as seagrass grows and the way its handcrafted after it’s been fully processed, each piece may differ slightly in thickness and color, embodying its own one-of-a-kind look. Keep in mind that minor splitting, cracking, and tearing over time is to be expected, and slight warping may occur. It may also lose its shape as time passes but can be manipulated back to its original state. Ultimately, these characteristics are part of why we choose to design with natural materials; we love that our pieces evolve with us.
