Inspired by the traditional style of Japanese stools, our Stanton takes the ancient, rustic silhouette and gives it a contemporary twist, covering it entirely in luxurious Brazilian hair-on-hide. The paneled, curved seat and all three pieces of the stool's base are padded for an extra element of thoughtful design.
What To Expect
Hair-on-hide refers to leather with the animal hide still intact. Since this material can be sourced from different breeds and individual animals, the hair on each piece can range in length and color, and this variation can be reflected in your piece. Additionally, the material can feature wrinkling, scarring, or other markings that are unique to this specific piece of leather and reminiscent of its natural origin.
