The classic lines of the Terrell nightstand are fully wrapped in panels of hair-on-hide, accented with gray suede detailing and contrast stitching.
What To Expect
Hair-on-hide refers to leather with the animal hide still intact. Since this material can be sourced from different breeds and individual animals, the hair on each piece can range in length and color, and this variation can be reflected in your piece. Additionally, the material can feature wrinkling, scarring, or other markings that are unique to this specific piece of leather and reminiscent of its natural origin.
Suede is the underside of an animal hide that’s been sanded down to reveal small fibers, giving it a soft, matte appearance. Its flexible and breathable nature also contributes to its appeal, but it can fade and dry out when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. To maintain the material, it’s best to keep suede away from water and moisture and avoid direct sunlight.
